A lot of people asked me for an explanation for some of the ideas I post about. Here I try to answer these questions in hopefully an easily digestible manner.
Lot of people also asked me to provide a bibliography —I don’t have one, I’m sadly not as well-read as some people may think. My process is in some part described here as a specific form of “communication” —but more on that later.
Either way, enjoy.
1. What is the Chthonic Heaven?
The Chthonic Heaven is the name of an active, civilizational paradox: We relate to Heaven, which traditionally is the sphere of the Future (see: astrology) and the Eternal (where the Throne of God resides) not as something apparent and above us, that is, an extroverted knowledge or tradition, but as something hidden under layers of conscious or unconscious mass ready to be “recovered”.
All modern technology is built around this notion of “recovery” in the form of producing instruments that collect Patterns and then “canonize” these Patterns into a structure.
We encounter this in its most basic form as algorithms on social media, that try to evolve a form that can one-to-one reflect the user’s desires at all times (i.e.: discover an overarching pattern). On the macro scale, however, we see this as a Cosmological conflict, where the image of metaphysical and thus teleological truth is ““evolved”” in the same way (Conspiracies and the reemergence of religion, transcendental worldviews in general).
I have to emphasize the paradoxical nature of all this, which is twofold:
1) We create new modes and methods to recover, discover —to find, transcendental patterns behind (and under) everything. What we find we integrate, then repeat the process from a new, and yet at the same time the same position where we integrated the “previous find”. This is because…
2) the transcendent is not a specific Object, it is not one “thing”, but something from which the meaning and movement of things are derived (and completed). Indeed, its most obvious form is paradox itself: it is equally flow and equally completely stationary, this is why it is simultaneously a structure and the feedback from and into the structure at the same time.
TL;DR: It’s as if we go forward into the future by archeology —by digging— but what the archeologist digs up instantly becomes a new and active part of our society, rather than going to a museum.
2. What is a Negative/Transcendental/Teleological Object?
It is that which produces the conditions of its realization and is realized continually thus. It’s equally the product of the feedback between things and feedback itself, thus it can be contemplated, but cannot be fully comprehended without ignoring or cutting out major parts.
3. What is The Wreckage?
The Wreckage is where the movement of the Chthonic Heaven will ultimately culminate. For one it is a structural residue of the previously mentioned feedback: it may seem everything is digitizing and disappearing from “analog” reality, however, this process is anything but one-sided.
The process of interpretation becomes physical and analog, rather than that which is interpreted. In older societies, everything was derived from a set metaphysic, a cosmology that was represented and confined by a specific point in space (temples, churches, cathedrals —sacred spaces) —today what is exterior is the process of derivation itself: rather than seeing temples, churches, and cathedrals, we see their negative: all structure is built around carrying out “metaphysical” (patterns, transcendent) consequence on the world.
At some point, the Cathedral escaped. An inversion happened and we find ourselves inside the Cathedral rather than having the luxury of confining the sacred to one point. Thus, going with the metaphor, our environment became symbolic and our time eschatological. As described by the movement of the Chthonic Heaven, “we dig up our future” —which ultimately means, digging up our Eschatology —as what we do, by the nature of the things described previously, is cosmological and transcendent.
In this sense, civilization is transforming into an environment, that is a specific ecology in which man’s survival depends on reading symbols and “signs”. This means that unknowingly, the progress of civilization and its catharsis is ultimately a transformation into a living but artificial ecology. If nature and the natural environment were derived from Man.
Moments before this transformation, however, civilization completes its emptying out and becomes a world-spanning wreck, a great ruin that has under it swallowed all natural environments as a prerequisite for its ascension.
TL;DR: Technology and civilization becoming ecology and thus replacing all already existing natural environments in the process. Image of the New Jerusalem.
4. How does Chiasmus come into this?
As I’ve said, Man has to rely on reading signs and symbols as a mode of navigating an environment both derived and constructed from those very same signs and symbols. This means that everyone is thrown into interpreting symbols and signs, not as an act of free contemplation or asceticism, but rather as a means of survival against Noise. The survival against the “natural environment” moves into the survival against (and paradoxically still by) the “artificial environment”.
Chiasmus describes, as an image, the structure of time in this environment in which the Past and the Future, and all possible opposites are reconciled in a Negative Object, which is both from where the opposites are derived and where they are fed back into.
X → Future (What the Past sees)
Past ← X (What the Future sees)
Past ←X→ Future (What X sees)
and as feedback:
X → Future ←X→ Past ← X (Also what X sees)
X is of course Christ, and you need to internalize X.
Coincidentally (or not) Chiasmus takes the form of a Parabole, the word from which Parable is derived. Structurally, a Symbol could be described as a parabola —you internalize such structure of time by reading reality as symbolic information. However, at this point, I’d refer to this fantastic article for further exploration: https://thesymbolicworld.com/content/the-cosmic-chiasmus
TL;DR: The metaphysics of the Incarnation of Christ describes best what is happening now, not as a doctrine but as a perceptual and technological reality.
5. What is Synchronicity and Synchronization?
Synchronization in its most basic definition is a technological reality: the internet synchronizes information flow and multiplicity of function into a unitary surface according to specific purposes and teleologies. Here already we can see how this process culminates and interfaces with the transcendent: the teleology by which function is decided is not stationary, as described in the question about the Chthonic Heaven.
Synchronization in itself is a want toward unity that does not culminate in an object but includes more and more objects within itself, meaning it is both something that is flowing and is also stationary.
(—A vulgar form of this in the mainstream (main-”stream”, “flow”) is cancel culture, where ideological censoring is not structural, but spontaneous de-synchronization —a neurotic answer to the question posed by the onslaught of the Wreckage.)
Synchronicity happens when the connection between things reaches a particular point of unification that is decided by purpose. Thus the pattern emerges again, where the teleology (—or teleological object) simultaneously reveals itself by the very act of gathering the conditions for its realization.
Synchronicity and Synchronization are also about connection and horizontalization culminating in a particular (“vertical”) point only perceptible as the relation between the objects that were gathered into the same horizon through connection —i.e.: it is a particular in the form of the universal
Thus it is both a moment (Specific Space and Time — Synchronicity)
and an ongoing process (Flow and Structure — Synchronization) of the unification of the opposites (Chiasmic).
TL;DR: Synchronicity/Synchronization is communication with the transcendent/teleological. The medium is reality and thus, so is the message.
