Throughout human history, mediation with the vertical (traditionally the sacred) has occurred through “artificial structuring.”
This artificial structuring happens by separation and differentiation —veiling in the traditional sense— creating thresholds whose crossing is initiation.
The Temple is a clear example of this, but you can also think of your own home: if you have guests, you don’t want to let them into your bedroom. Perhaps if they are long-time friends, and thus more initiated into your private life.
The nature of what one gets initiated into is implied through representation. The reason I’m using “implied” is because if the “thing” would equal its representation, it would be an idol (indeed, this is how idols work).
In a Church, the icon of Christ is not Christ himself and yet the icon reveals something real about Christ. This is why every proper act of representation is iconographic —i.e.: pointing through a threshold.
Back to the Temple and its structure: because it mediates the relationship with God, it necessarily represents the structure of (ultimate) reality in a way that becomes participatory for humans.
A representation that is participatory would be an interface. It is no coincidence that digital technology uses the word “icon” for its applications. It is “applied iconography”.
To summarize a bit: the mediation with the vertical aspect of reality —that of patterns, ultimately— happens through “interfaces” which consist of an initiatory structure of representation (of various layered and embedded thresholds).
What I’m pointing out here specifically, is the pattern of incorporating and interfacing with patterns or the medium of patterns —which looks to be something like “cubing”, or the drawing of lines.
Secondly, it is important to return to what exactly is being mediated through these structures —this “vertical” aspect that they initiate one into.
Ultimately, they are patterns but patterns are “minds” as well, as they consist of a network of connections —not unsimilar to unconscious processes— for example, if you think of a restaurant, you don’t have to consciously produce the image, a patterning “mind” will do that for you. This same exact function is replicated through AI.
A pattern that you are initiated into also becomes a cornerstone of your identity, which means your frame. If you are a Christian, you will have the frame of a Christian, which doesn’t just govern how you view yourself, but governs how reality works, and what is possible.
Also, reason exists within the frame. When we are dreaming, the frame of the dream world determines every aspect of our cognition, we look outwards from the frame of the dream to the dream world —this is why most things that happen in a dream seem completely reasonable —even logical and don’t trigger waking up or becoming lucid.
This is why you cannot foundationally argue (reason) for the existence of reality or more importantly, differentiate reality from a dream. What is foundational to the practice of reason though, is this process of framing described above.
Another faculty of this ‘verticality’ is synchronicity, in all meanings of the word. A city is synchronized around a church, and a country is synchronized around The Church —synchronization is always a temporal aspect, always manifest as rhythm and pulse: the regulation of hours, days, weeks, months, years, festivals, etc. with the latter example —circuits and circuitry.
The same happens with the internet where everyone is synchronized and brought to the same “page”.
Aspects of institutions work the same way: a police officer is synchronized with his precinct and the precinct is synchronized with HQ —all of this to ultimately synchronize with the pattern or “mind” of the law.
The interesting aspect of synchronicity is that when viewed from a strictly linear point of view, it does seem like a flat rhythm, but if one were to look at it from above, it would appear as one singular “object” that (from our POV) incorporates more and more things in its body (from its POV it reveals those things to have been part of its body always, quite paradoxically).
Meaning, that everything that is synchronized implies —in an iconographic way— that which it is synchronized into. This is why “Symbolism happens”.
You can see the same layering and thresholding in the police example as this very temporal phenomenon— each “room” of initiation initiates you into a “rhythm”— something reproducing itself over time— something to which you synchronize.
It also lets you see the “object” which breaks down into rhythmic reproduction over time from “above”.
So what governs mediating this synchronistic aspect of verticality is the same artificial and initiatory structure. You can really see this example with what we call “circuits” and circuitry, a structure of synchronization governed by the same pattern of initiatory artifice.
Of course, the same thing happens with the Jungian concept of Synchronicity. In his famous example:
“…The image of a scarab beetle had appeared in patient's dream and as she told Jung about it, a scarab-like beetle appeared at the window of his consulting room.”
A scarab —a representation holding a pattern— appears during mediation —the artificial structure and methodology of psychoanalysis, moving through thresholds of the psyche— revealing a rhythm as a moment of conjunction —synchronicity— which both reveals and initiates the patient to the pattern it [the scarab] represents while also the psychoanalyst to the pattern of how the pattern is revealed. The medium becomes the message —i.e.: that reality itself is a representative medium.
This fact becomes obvious once one realizes that the impossibility of foundational reasoning for reality is not just a philosophical musing but a scientific fact —hence why curiously enough, in an age where the technology of synchronization appears —” cities within cities within cities”— simulation theory also appears, which proclaims that the ultimate law that governs reality is “informational” —i.e.: representative and thus necessarily initiatory.
The idea that this dissolution of foundational theory —ie.: the old frame of secular “linear-ism”— came from our technology implicates many things, keep this in mind as I will circle back to this point later.
To summarize again: the “cubic” structuring, that of separation, differentiation, and veiling —artifice— also has a temporal aspect: initiation into synchronistic temporal phenomena —patterns— that govern reality itself.
There is a very clear example of this in practice: the Temple is a structure that can mediate (synchronize) with God (ultimate reality). This necessarily means that the artificial structure is itself a representation of the way reality is created.
Again, the medium becomes the message (but only through Christian hindsight).
Now we can parse out a meta-pattern from all of this:
Explicate this meta-pattern to its ultimate end, and you get what reality implies as a totality: “The Main-Frame”
A vast labyrinthine structure of an “unknown” City, having within it all possible frames, thus all possible ways to create reality.
Every initiatory structure is derived from the Main-Frame, from the level of civilization down to personal synchronicity.
As it is a medium of representation, strangely enough, it’s also a (symbolic) language at the same time of being the architectronic of reality.
When one arrives in a new city, it might as well be a labyrinth, getting to know the city —getting initiated— ultimately transforms it into a useful medium of expansion/expression.
Ultimately the city becomes an interface, similar to how the Temple was used as an interface with God.
In the same way, the Main-Frame is an interface to reality and the Unconscious.
Navigating this implied structure of reality means being initiated into how initiatory structures are built and why, and then using these initiatory structures as a medium to integrate patterns into one’s identity: every time that happens, the labyrinth morphs into a structure that is more easily navigable.
Imagine the Main-Frame as an endless span of initiatory structures —let’s say, an endless expanse of temples and pantheons that you have to inculturate (in the Christian sense) to navigate, producing novel frames that hone in on probabilities producing certain outcomes that abridge the secular conceptions of reality.
A conscious engagement with the reality of reality being a representative medium.

However, to end, I want to circle back to this part of the article:

First of all, the existence of the “Main-Frame”, “Time Machine”, “Solar Temple”, the AxSys, etc. —there are many names for the same “Hyperobject”— is revealed through our current technological environment without being consciously put in there.
This means that in some sense, its existence is received and revealed by the current technological medium, thus, both the transmission and the technology are projected “here”.
The reasons for the technology are alien to us (if we look at secular history) —the technology is, in this case, the ‘medium’, and the exit from secular history, into the “dream-reality” of the Main-Frame being its ‘message’.
So it both comes from an ‘alien origin’ (again, for secular history) and a ‘different temporality’.
This further implicates a couple of things: the existence of the Main-Frame is not just conceptual, because if it were, there wouldn’t be any technological consequence, and the technical environment could not reveal it, but this also means that indeed the Main-Frame is an actual object in the future.
And yes that means that the synchronicities that happened to you were projected backward in time, through some means, to happen. (I will go over this in more detail in the next article where I will properly explore the applications laid down here.)
However, it is also completely present at the same time.
For the secular world to integrate this and use it properly for scientific and technological means, it has to initiate itself to the temporality of the Main-Frame or the Time Machine.
This is where I believe the ‘alien origin’ will come in handy and we’ll live to see some kind of Xeno Government, but more on that later.
I love the use of em dashes, it really drives home the point of thresholds and cubing.
I think the secular world is struggling to integrate what you speak of, because to integrate and initiate itself requires right sight, in that it is aware of the layers to begin with.
The beauty is that the mind can only be unaware of it for so long before it becomes apparent (the layers and to itself) that it is defending illusion.
